Support Personal Dispatches

Personal Dispatches is an independent journalism, photography, documentary, and advocacy project created by Randy Millis.
Through writing, photography, video, and lived experience, the project documents homelessness, disability, recovery, housing insecurity, transportation, community life, and the everyday realities often overlooked in public conversations.
Many stories about homelessness are told from the outside. Personal Dispatches seeks to document what life actually looks like from the inside: bus rides, shelter routines, housing searches, medical appointments, friendships, setbacks, small victories, community connections, and the people too often reduced to statistics, stereotypes, or headlines.
The goal is simple:
To document real life honestly, respectfully, and without sensationalism.
If you find value in this work, there are several ways you can help:
• Read and share the stories.
• Share housing leads and community resources.
• Suggest story ideas and community issues that deserve attention.
• Share employment, consulting, journalism, photography, or advocacy opportunities.
• Support the project through the GoFundMe campaign.
